Thank you to everybody for your reply. So you think that the way to fix the problem with my usb 2.0 ports (now these are working as usb 1.0), is to remove one wire.
But is it simply to remove it? Special tools are needed? However it is very strange this thing: the case has front USB ports, certified to operate as USB 2.0. Why do I have to change the connectors?
It 'a problem of the motherboard? Anyway thanks to everyone for the advice, I have just a bit 'of time searching for a suitable screwdriver to do this job and I will try your suggestion.
Thank you all for now! If you remove the last black wire shown in your picture (the one I cropped and has red arrow) It should fix your problem. All USB plugs to be used on MSI MB should have red (pins 1 & 2), white (pins 3 & 4), green (pins 5 & 6), black (pins 7 & 8). Pin 9 (key, no hole), pin 10 (hole, no wire). Any small tipped/pointed object (hair pin, jewelers screwdriver, knife point) can be used to raise the tab to release the wire connector.
Insulate the connector you released and then tie it out of the way or simply let it hang, whatever as long as it doesn't cause a short circuit anywhere.
If the 160 gigabyte drive happens to be SATA 2(3 gigabits/sec)(Like HDS721616PLA380) you may need to use a jumper to force it to 1.5(I sure hope this drive has that option.). I know for a fact that early Via SATA does need this to be done(My Seagate drives had a jumper for this problem.). I found some hope for you. Abc amber pdf converter 3.14 serial. You will need another system to do this, but it will tell the drive to run @ 1.5gigabits/sec So you want Feature Tool No, it does not having any jumper to set, when i try boot sytem from diffrent harddisk which is from IDE having a windows xp sp2 it never boot at all it gives error message verifying DMI pool data, at last it says, insert system disk.
