Sony Vaio Oem Vista Iso
I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FW370J that came with Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit preinstalled on it (OEM) I want to format my laptop as it is very. Windows ® 8 Clean Install Instructions for VAIO. Some third-party (non-Sony) software may not download and install after the upgrade.
Hello everyone, I recently purchased a Sony VAIO VPCEB27FA which is basically a Middle East model of the EB series. The PC is literally loaded with all sorts of trialware and bloatware possible and this has absolutely killed the whole computing experience. Windows 7 starts up in more than 3 minutes. Yeah, I actually timed it to see how much time it takes for Windows to load up before I can actually start using my computer.
My old Gateway desktop which is actually a P4 and has Windows 7 installed on it opens up in less than 45 seconds and is good to go. So I have decided to definitely do a clean install on my laptop to clean out all the horrendous JUNK. But can I use the Windows 7 key on the back of my laptop after a clean install? I will be downloading the english version of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit from Digital River.
Currently my laptop has the same version i.e the English version Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit as mentioned on this page from Sony Thanks PS:- You can see for yourself on the Sony page under specifications under INCLUDED SOFTWARE, how much trialware and bloatware has been installed by Sony on this machine. I hate Sony for this and I am not going to ever buy a VAIO again in my whole life. There is no need to separately download OEM or retail version of Windows 7 RTM installation DVD ISO, as the retail version of Windows 7 installation can be easily converted by simply using the correct product key (e.g OEMSLP product key can convert a retail Windows 7 installation to OEM version), as product keys issued by OEM has different base from retail product key. For the DVD ISO images, the only difference between a Windows 7 RTM retail ISO and Windows 7 RTM OEM ISO is at source/ei.cfg file Channel heading, which specifies either Retail or OEM channel. You cannot use the Key with which Windows is installed by the OEM (the OEMSLP Key) as it requires certificates only present in the Recovery software to be able to self-activate, and cannot be activated through the more normal methods. The COA Key is the one on your COA sticker on the case (properly called the COASLP Key) - this is different to the one the OEM uses, and is for use when the OEMSLP Key doesn't or can't work, such as when installing using Retail media (such a a download from Digital River).
